The Master

The Master is a well-known villain in Doctor Who. The master has many different appearances throughout the show, which is why he/she is well-known. The Master does not appear with all of the Doctors but does appear with many. The Master appears with the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, tenth, and twelfth Doctors. In almost every episode The Master is in, he/she usually says his/her saying, “I couldn’t very well keep calling myself the Master, now could I?”

The Master is a childhood friend of the Doctor who was driven insane after looking into the Untempered Schism on Gallifrey when he/she was eight years old. Like the Doctor, the Master fled Gallifrey in a stolen TARDIS. The Master is the only one who can regenerate like the Doctor, but after running out of natural regenerations, the Master is forced to use other bodies such as Henry Saxon and Professor Yana.

One thing that makes the Master stand out is that he (in this specific case) hears the constant sound of drums in his head. The drumming in his head started when he looked into the Untempered Schism. After the drumming started, the Master started to go insane, which drove him to steal a TARDIS and escape.

The Master can be sort of confusing to follow, especially when not starting with the third Doctor, which is where the Master was introduced. When I first started watching Doctor Who, I started with the Eleventh Doctor. The Master does not appear in with this Doctor but I went back to watch the Tenth Doctor. I was very confused when I first started watching the episodes when the Master was involved. As you go through, the episodes tell you more about the Master, so you can get caught up on some of the information.

The Master appears in 30 episodes on the show, which is very close to the number of episodes as the Daleks. Because I gave 2 points per episode, the master gets a total of 60 points just for being on the show. As for the number of times the Master acts violently is also pretty high. The total of violence the Master has created on the show comes to a total of 126, which brings the total for the Master to 186.

In conclusion, the Master is very close to the Daleks according to my ratings. According to my ratings, the Master is ranked higher on the scale than the Cybermen.
